WaterWide is a non-profit organisation that solve water, sanitation and hygiene-related issues in marginalised communities in Nigeria with the main objective of tracking government spending and international aid for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) to ensure transparency, accountability and the proper implementation and completion of WASH projects in rural communities in Nigeria. Using the power of technology, we amplify the unheard voices and living condition of people in marginalised/rural communities in Nigeria.

How We Work.

We Track Government Funds and intl’ Aid

To ensure that funds are spent judiciously, and not diverted to private pockets. It enables communities to ask: ‘Are public resources being used as planned? And are they bringing the expected results?’ It can lead to better public services delivery for communities.

Engage in Advocacy at Policy and Decentralised Levels

To strengthen and deepen our role in influencing policies and practices that impede access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene by the people in rural communities. And amplify the living conditions of people in marginalised communities.

Develop The Capacity of Relevant Stakeholders and Rural Communities Members

Equipping them with the right knowledge for best practices in the water and sanitation sector, and establish mechanisms for ensuring government spending accountability.

Raise Monies to Funds WASH Related Projects
